Born on October 7, 1981, Abhijeet Sawant was the winner of India's first Indian Idol. The song he sang on the final episode, Mohabbatein Lutaunga, also became his most famous one. His first solo album, Aapka Abhijeet Sawant, was released on April 7, 2005. After that, he was also used to promote shows and products related to Sony, and eventually released an album for another Sony show, Jassi Jaissi Koi Nahin in June 2005.
His comeback album, Junoon, was released on 10th of July, 2007. His first grand concert after winning Indian Idol is Yaaron Concert in Delhi. His comment about life after Idol is I dont have much time to visit my family anymore, because there's always a crowd around. But I never complained because its part of a sacrifice to follow my dreams.
